ILU, My Late Grandma…

Just now i was having lunner (lunch + dinner) in Solaria Restaurant at Mega Mall Batam Centre. I used to eat “nasi bistik ayam” at there. I don’t know why, lolx. Maybe it was the nicest dishes i ever ate at there. :))
I remember i have never ate at Solaria since the bad service in my friend’s birthday dinner last time. It didn’t have any special taste of the dishes just now but it suddenly made me remember of my late medan Grandma. She came from Medan to visit her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Yeah, the grandchildren mentions there are including me.
The plane landed and it brought her to me. I fetch her at Hang Nadim Airport. I urged to meet her so I requested to the authorities to go into the arrival area but i failed. At last, i saw her from the outside. Never think twice, i went into the arrival area again and told the authorities that’s my Grandma and then they leaved me to go in. I hold both of my Grandma’s hands to welcome her and we were waiting for the baggage. On the way to have lunch, she gave me a box of local cake. She said “Special bring a box for you”.
I accompanied her to have lunch at Solaria Restaurant - Mega Mall Batam Centre. She had made some criticism of the dishes, she said the vegetables there were not fresh at all. I laughed at that time and feel embarrassed. She thanked me to treat her lunch and i said “you are my grandma and i am your grandchild so this is what i should do”. I smiled to her, she too.
After have the lunch, i accompany her to Sekupang interlocal harbour. She needed to take ferry at there for reaching my hometown, Tanjung Balai Karimun. On the way to Sekupang, she told me if that was maybe the last time she visited us, she told her health condition was unstable recently. I told her “no need to worry too much, there are always a way out then.”. “I will graduate soon. So at the time, you have to attend my graduation ceremony oooo”, i comforted her. She replied “hope so…”
She has gone. Leave her sons, daughters, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren in the world. RIP
I love you always. You will always in my heart, my late medan grandma…
